SBE Edition features modules tailored to small print shops.
Prism has launched its Prism-WIN SBE
(Small Business Edition) management
information system software. Based on
the company's more extensive Prism-
WIN system, the SBE edition is a modular-
designed software suite featuring
up to 14 modules tailored to the needs
of the smaller print shop.
Prism-WIN SBE modules include:
Production Quoting; Jobbing (workflow
automation); Shop Floor Management;
Purchasing; Inventory Control; Production
Board (a scheduling tool to maximize
efficiency); Accounts Receivable;
Accounts Payable; Cash Book; General
Ledger; Sales Order Processing; E-Service
Desk (an Internet-based customerservice
desk); and others.
Prism's SBE edition can run on
an Oracle 9i or Microsoft SQL Server
2000 database, as well as Windows
98/2000/2003/NT/XP Server. The Prism-
WIN database is also open to ODBC connectivity,
allowing it to be resourced
from third-party software such as Microsoft
Word, Excel, and Access.
