Company also begins offering free QuarkXPress technical support
Quark Inc. has released Quark License Administrator 3.3, the latest version of its license administrator and management software. Version 3.3 supports multiple administrators on a single server to simplify and streamline management. If a license is available, the request is fulfilled via the local network, and a license is checked out, allowing the application to launch on the user's computer. When users exit the application, the license is checked back in and becomes available to someone else.
In addition, remote employees and freelancers can access QuarkXPress licenses without needing to connect to a local network. Employees on the road can simply have the license sent to them in an e-mail message for quick activation off the network.
Companies with QuarkXPress 5 and 6 can utilize the capabilities of the new software; it's available at no charge for Quark customers with five or more licenses.
Quark Inc. also has announced that, beginning December 1, 2004, it will begin offering free technical support for QuarkXPress for its English-speaking customers.
