Clear application film eases installation of vinyl graphics

To keep graphics clean and neat prior to installation, R Tape has enhanced its Clear Conform? product. In addition to its special adhesive that enables the tape to stick to slick silicone release liners, Clear Conform now includes a stiffer, polypropylene facestock that laminates more easily, resists distortion, and reduces the risk of misregistration of graphics. In addition, the low-static polypropylene doesn't attract the vinyl graphics during lamination.

When graphics are properly rolled, Clear Conform lays flat with no tunneling, wrinkling, or edge curling. The clarity of the film helps installers properly align panels of vinyl graphics. The embossed facestock makes it possible to rip the application film in a straight line, eliminating the need for a knife. Clear Conform is available in a variety of factory-cut roll widths, in 50- and 100-yd rolls. (R Tape Corp.: www.rtape.com)
