Integrated Color Solutions (ICS) is now
integrating Apago's PSServices and
Grand Junction RIP technologies into
Remote Director, the company's SWOP-certified
monitor-based contract-proofing
system.
The Apago technologies allow Remote
Director users to expand their proofing
capabilities from raster images only,
to complete pages incorporating text,
images, and vector graphics. Users can
proof PostScript, EPS, DCS, PDF, and PDF/
X pages; the solution also offers support
for legacy TIFF/IT and Brisque files. Prior
to the Apago integration, ICS customers
had to integrate third-party software into
their workflow to proof complete pages
or images in unsupported file formats.
