Procedes Chenel Beilken Digital Printing's work for an indoor ski arena.
When the textile cladding on the ceiling of the indoor skiing arena Skihalle in Neuss, Germany, needed replacing-moisture stains and an unsightly green discolouration of the formerly blue material were the primary culprits-Procedes Chenel Beilken Digital Printing (procedes.de) turned to its EFI Vutek 3360 printer in conjunction with solvent inks and Junkers & Mullers Mediatex Presto waterproof, PVC-free textile.
The result was this photorealistic representation of a sky covering the hall's entire catering and entrance area (500m2, or approximately 5382 square feet) with fair-weather clouds. Installation was done by WT Baumanagement (wt-baumanagement.de).
