Designed specifically for print service providers, the new system is a turnkey solution featuring the necessary components for a shop to get started in dynamic signage, says Roland, including:

• Digital media player: The compact player offers high-definition (HD) playback; Ethernet and Wi-Fi 802.11abgn connectivity; HDMI output.

• Mounting hardware; and

• LCD display options: High-resolution, commercial-grade displays that support resolution up to 1920 x 1080; available in 32-, 40-, 46-, and 55-in. models.

For shops/clients that already have a monitor/display solution, Roland DisplayStudio is also available in a package that includes just the software, media player, and mounting hardware.

Roland DisplayStudio presentations can be produced and managed virtually from Windows-based and Mac computers. Applications include point-of-sale displays, event graphics, restaurant menu boards, retail signage, corporate news broadcasts, and more.
