Nekoosa Coated Products has acquired IGI Corp., parent of RTape and CET Films. RTape and CET Films will operate as divisions of Nekoosa Coated Products; Paul Charapata, CEO of Nekoosa Coated Products, will lead the new organization
Headquartered in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, Nekoosa Coated Products produces carbonless paper technology as well as a line of specialty films including Synaps OM and Synaps Digital XM, premium synthetic papers from Agfa; ThermaTac digital removable vinyl; Thermanent premium digital polyester; MagneCote magnetic paper; a line of FSC-certified digital coated papers, Nekoosa Display Board, and others. Formerly the 3M/Imation Specialty Paper Group, the company was acquired by Dunsirn Partners in 2005 and renamed Nekoosa Coated Products; Wingate Partners of Dallas acquired Nekoosa in October 2012.

RTape manufactures a wide range of products for the sign, screen print, and digital printing markets, including Claritex printable polycarbonate films; DigiMask surface protection masking for digital prints; Eclypse overlaminating films; Conform Series, ApliTape, and Clear Choice application tapes; ChalkTalk chalkboard film; EZ Erase dry erase vinyl; and VinylEfx embossed metalized vinyl films. CET Films Corp. manufactures cast custom extruded films for a range of niche graphic arts and ancillary markets.
