Is scratch-, scuff-, and abrasion-proof.
Film and coating manufacturer MacDermid Autotype has developed a printable SigmaGraf Anti-Graffiti product. Comprising a polyester base and a coated upper surface hardcoat with an inkjet-printable underside for reverse printing, the media is available as either Plus coating for aqueous pigment inkjets, or UVjet primer for UV-curable inkjet printers.
The upper hardcoat layer provides both anti-graffiti and anti-glare properties. The hardcoat surface boasts a nano-roughened finish that reflects less than 55% of light at 60"?; the surface also is scratch-, scruff-, and abrasion-proof, according to the company. Graffiti paint can be cleaned off with conventional isopropanol solvents or aqueous detergents without residues or marks.
The SigmaGraf Anti-Graffiti film is available in high gloss or velvet matte 130-micron thickness, and fine-texture matte or anti-glare satin 150-micron thickness.
