Solvent ink for rigid printing.
Tampoprint has developed an ink which will print directly onto glass in such as way to make it possible to produce a laminated safety glass. This solvent ink is optimized for its wide-format DMD EP series printers. Using this ink, the glass does not require a special coating, only cleaning by hand in advance of printing.
The company reports that this ink-glass combination has received the German certification for laminated safety glass for architecture, construction, and buildings.
