A lightweight, compact lens.
Tamron has introduced the AF 18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro, a lightweight, compact, and high-power zoom lens designed to provide high image-quality resolution, contrast, and flatness of image field. Designed for DSLR cameras with APS-C sized image sensors, the lens boasts a zoom ratio of 13.9x and offers a range of 28mm wide angle to 388mm ultra telephoto.
The lens has a minimum focus distance of 0.45 m and a minimum aperture of f/22. Additionally, through the use of a new multiple-layer coating technology, ghosting and flare are reduced. The lens also features a zoom lock mechanism as well as an ergonomic rubber pattern on the focus and zoom rings to provide better handling. Lens hood is included.
