Fabrics compatible with solvent, mild-solvent, and UV-curable inks.
Ultraflex has introduced its new Ultra textile line. The first of the planned dozen fabrics are UltraCanvas Artist C325, UltraPoplin PES C240, and UltraCotton C200. All three textiles are compatible with solvent, mild-solvent, and UV-curable inks; some are also compatible with dye-sub direct-print or transfer.
* UltraCanvas Artist C325 is a 325-gsm polyester that's bath-coated in polyurethane and then topcoated with glossy acrylic on one side producing a gloss finish on one side and a matte finish on the other. Designed for fine-art reproduction, indoor and short-term outdoor banners, wallcovering, tradeshow, and theatrical applications, this substrate can be printed on either side. Available in 62- and 98-in. rolls.
* The crease- and wrinkle-free UltraPoplin C240 is a 7.2-oz 100% polyester with an acrylic coating on one side. The poplin texture has a slight give for stretching over framing and display systems; other applications include tradeshow graphics, indoor and outdoor banners, and wallcovering. This fabric, available in rolls from 54- to 98-in. wide, is also compatible with dye-sub transfer and dye-sub direct-printing.
* UltraCotton C200 is 100% cotton with a water-based coating on one side. The 200-gsm textile is crease free, offers a light linen texture, and is recyclable and biodegradable. Designed for indoor use only, applications include art reprographics, indoor displays, theatrical and tradeshow events. Available in rolls from 61- to 198-in. wide.
