Viscom Düsseldorf 2011, an international trade fair for visual communication, technology, and design, will take over the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre October 13-15. The event will feature exhibitors ranging from advertising technology, light advertising, wide-format digital printing, textile finishing, and newer segments of digital signage and individual printing and design. Last year, the fair welcomed a 70-percent increase in attendees and is expecting similar success for 2011.
The fifth annual “Best of Awards” will be given to the top innovations in categories including: textile finishing, wide-format printing, sign making, light advertising, and software. All exhibitors are welcome to enter. To register, contact Natalie Depuhl at Natalie.Depuhl@reedexpo.de.
The trade fair also features Digital Signage World, a segment of the fair devoted to digital advertising and information systems. Companies will showcase solutions for the retail sector, information and routing systems, interactivity, and content. Products will be presented geared toward the retail sector, hotels, railway stations and airports, and public areas. The theme is reflecting the relationship between digital signage and classic advertising and lighting technology with the POS/display market and outdoor advertising. Digital Signage World includes guided tours, lectures, and workshops as well as the Digital Signage Best Practice Award for innovative digital signage applications.
