With so many different combinations of printers and inks now available, a single type of graphic can be fabricated in many different ways. For instance, a short-term outdoor banner can be created with: different types of aqueous inks on coated or uncoated vinyls or vinyl-alternatives; a mild-solvent ink with treated or uncoated media; solvent-based inks with uncoated materials, or UV-curable materials with uncoated media.
