The XMPie Users' Group will hold its second annual conference at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas beginning February 6, 2008.
Designed as an interactive forum, the two-day event will incorporate a program of activities and open discussion forums encompassing a technology-oriented curriculum as well as a marketing and business development track. XMPie staff and users will discuss variable-data printing and cross-media technology, trends, and best practices. The conference will be preceded by a choice of technical tutorials targeted at either design or programming activities.
'Year after year, we fill the conference with innovative sessions that provide attendees with ideas they can immediately apply in their businesses,' says Stefan Augusston, XMPie Users' Group president. 'This year, in response to user feedback, we have added technical tutorials and broken technical tracks into two segments, with a design focus or a programming focus.'
Event registration is $550 per person; pre-conference technical tutorials cost $199 each. Only Users Group members are eligible to attend; cost to join the XMPie Users Group is $295/year.
Launched more than a year ago, the XMPie Users' Group is an assembly of XMPie customers that openly discuss and share variable-data campaign experiences; the group works collectively to ascertain and deliver unbiased business, marketing, and technical knowledge that allows members and their organizations to successfully develop variable-data campaigns with XMPie software. The group reports that its 2007 conference attracted more than 170 attendees from 90 separate companies.
