This position is responsible for conducting market analyses to identify product/market opportunities for digital consumables to serve the needs of existing customers and develop new market segments. Once viable opportunities are identified develops comprehensive marketing plans including target customer segments, sales collateral, competitive analyses, training, advertising, pricing strategy designed to achieve the corporate goals for growth and profit.
This position will be based in either Shawnee, KS or Pennsauken, NJ.

*Conducts marketing analysis to identify and develop product opportunities and definitions.
*Provides financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
*Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, marketing communications and distribution operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
*Identifies product line objectives, coordinates and develops marketing, sales, and financial plans for introduction to the market.
*Participates in overall product/market strategy, application research, pricing/cost research and coordination for existing and emerging digital media products.
*Provides technical expertise, selling tools and training to outside sales, inside sales, business development and customer service in support of digital consumables including wide format digital media and substrates, film laminates, and other consumable items supporting digital output.
*Produces competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
*Develops alliances with key market segment suppliers and identifies partnering opportunities in order to maintain competitive position in the market with pricing and complementary products offered. Manage these partnerships once established.
*Conducts market research and identifies and tracks market trends in company’s industry.
*Monitor competitive activity and propose adjustments to Nazdar product offerings and sales strategies to react to future market trends.
*Participates in key sales opportunities for the product.
*Maintains communications and contact with vendors and sales to collect and analyze technical, financial and sales information on product line.
*Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer, price/cost and market requirements for product.
*Monitor Sales, organize data and provide reporting on progress towards product line goals
*Monitors sales activity to identify opportunities for consolidation or rationalization of product lines
*Utilizes the Purchasing team to source vendors and negotiate product costs
*Assists Purchasing to ensure that accurate part numbers and market based pricing are entered into the business systems and updated as required.
*Identifies slow moving products to be included in periodic inventory clearance promotions
*Provides VP Marketing with a monthly activity report and planned activities for the coming month

*Direct experience with a manufacturer/distributor associated within the digital printing industry, digital consumable experience preferred
*Minimum 5 years experience in product management, sales management or market segment management role
*Bachelor's Degree - Marketing or Business degree preferred
