Mutoh America has introduced its ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) “smart” software, which monitors ink levels, heater settings, firmware updates, color output, and more on the company’s ValueJet printer line. Printer functions are checked by VSM to ensure the printer is providing consistent output; the operator is notified via e-mail or smart phone of any problems. In addition, the user can check the status of the ink level and heater temperatures via the Internet, from any PC with installed VSM software.
