Color Management Boot Camp: Coming To A City Near You!

Thirteen years after being founded in a small basement in Middletown, Conn. the wholesale large-format printing company, SignCenter, announces a substantial expansion of their Milford headquarters. Idealliance, the global non-profit for the Visual Communications and Media Industry, has launched Idealliance Europe, opening new offices in Dublin and Madrid, and expanding an Idealliance Global Offices network that now comprises nine international affiliates, including units in China, Korea, India, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and Brazil. The offices in Ireland and Spain bring to five the new international affiliates opened by Idealliance over the last four months.

Hop Industries

Hop Industries, manufacturer of the durable Hop-Syn synthetic paper, today announces that it has published a guide for retailers that highlights how substrates used for in-store signage can positively or negatively impact their sustainability initiatives. Xaar plc has announced a collaboration with leading industrial printhead solution provider Meteor Inkjet Ltd to produce an inkjet development kit and commercial drive electronics set for the Xaar 1201 printhead. The specially developed ecosystem from Meteor enables OEMs who use the Xaar 1201 to develop printers for the graphics and textiles market to maximize the printhead performance.

Mike Kyritsi is in line to be the new President of swissQprint America, Inc., the US subsidiary of the Swiss manufacturer of high-end UV inkjet printers. He is taking over in January 2018.

swissQprint large format printers are developed and produced in Switzerland. The Swiss company established its first subsidiary in fall 2015 with Carmen Eicher in charge. She is now returning to the headquarters in Switzerland where she will continue supporting the US team as a consultant. Mike Kyritsi, who has long-standing experience in the printing industry, is taking over as new President.
