Hunger doesn’t take a vacation. Like so many school districts across the US, numerous students attending the Phoenix Elementary School District #1 get the bulk of their meals from their school. When classes end for the summer, many of these children lose their access to well-balanced meals and may face food insecurity. The school district launched a mobile feeding bus to deliver healthy meals to students during their summer break.

The district called on wide-format print service provider Azpro to create a bright, cheerful, and attention-grabbing design to differentiate the bus from standard yellow school buses. The shop designed, printed, and installed the project.

Azpro’s Tom Radz says the detailed design required careful planning to be certain of consistency between the window perforation and vinyl. The team had to ensure no elements of the wrap would be distorted if the windows were opened.
