Epson’s New Solvent Papers, SureColor Printers

The new SureColor S50670 and S70670 are 64-in. solvent printers.

Big Picture

Epson has introduced two new solvent papers for use with its SureColor Series printers: GS DisplayTrans Backlight Film and GS Canvas Satin.

The GS DisplayTrans Backlight Film is a high-resolution backlight film designed for professional solvent backlight displays or daylight signage graphic applications. This new film is geared toward labs and service providers that need to complete short production runs while maintaining the highest quality of prints. Available in roll sizes from 30 in. x 100 ft to 60 in. x 100 ft.

GS Canvas Satin delivers less surface gloss than the company’s GS Canvas Gloss, and is durable, heavyweight, and capable of being stretched for various display applications, including portrait photography and color landscapes. The GS Canvas Satin also eliminates any need for additional varnish applications. Available in roll sizes from 24 in. x 75 ft to 60 in. x 75 ft.

In addition, Epson America has introduced the new SureColor S50670 and S70670 64-in. solvent printers to the US market. We reported on these in our Drupa show report in our July issue (see pg. 36).
