Minnesota Wild hockey fans’ dedication and enthusiasm for the NHL team at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, is captured in the signage and graphics throughout the arena. (You’ve already seen what they can do in our March Wide Angle.) When the Wild made the playoffs during the 2018 season, visuals that showcased the energy of postseason games were a must – and time was of the essence. Interior graphics needed to be changed out during a brief window of time after the arena hosted college-level NCAA Frozen Four tournament games and before the Wild returned to the ice to battle the Winnipeg Jets.
It is important to visually showcase our playoff theme and create a different look and feel in the arena. Everything is amplified in the playoffs, so we want to make sure the arena is dressed for the occasion.

Park Printing has produced wide-format print for the arena previously. “We’ve executed projects for the Wild and their graphics for a number of years. Normally we have our team install them, however, with such a tight timeframe we brought in Remix Wraps,” says Michael Koloski, VP at Park Printing.
Park Printing used their HP Latex 3100 printer to image 756 square feet of graphics onto 3M Controltac Graphic Film Series IJ180. Two installers from Remix Wraps spent four hours installing the four panels of vinyl.
